Since the mid-sixties Asmus Tietchens has been following his very own path on the fringes of electronic music.

Starting out with experiments for manipulated tapes and sound generators, he has made everything from complex compositions for Minimoog to electro-acoustic avantgarde, industrial sound collages and even synth-driven electro-pop.

Tietchens has been attacking electronic music from almost every angle, exploring its endless posibilities in a ceaceless attempt to let the machinery – electricity itself – speak with a voice of its own.
