ABOUT THE FILM
Asta Nielsen unfolds her entire repertoire in the silent movie ‘Im Lebenswirbel’ by Heinz Schall. In a force-field of morality, loyalty, love and erotic obsession and in the role of painter wife Margit, who falls in love with the landowner Arvid Sund, she is trying to keep her passion check for the sake of her husband. The movie is rarity and was considered lost until recently.
ABOUT PHAROAH CHROMIUM
Always wearing a golden mask, Pharoah Chromium’s concerts are theatrical and outlandish. He mixes a kind of repetitive post-krautrock with stagnant drones and echoes of North African folk, ominous soundscapes that twists and mutates unexpectedly as his sound evolve and progress around the manipulation of his so-called punji-flute.

This unique concert event is a cooperation between Cinemateket, Goethe-Institut Dänemark, Snyk DK and PHONO festival (taking place in Odense 6th-8th October). Many thanks also to our beer sponsor TAYBEH BEER.
